The MacGregor Two are a 2-piece Canadian Classic Country duo from Pickering, Ontario

A refreshing Daughter /Father act, full of fun, and sometimes corny country humor.

While singing the classic favorites, Alison MacGregor began playing bass at the age of 11.  She began singing as early as she could talk. Alison is the youngest of 4 children born to Ruthann and Scott MacGregor in Pickering Ontario. In her early teens, she taught herself to play the acoustic guitar. Alison’s background is in graphic design and enjoys designing posters, imagery, and merchandise for the M2 shows. Alison sang through the years in the youth groups at church and school events. Alison’s singing style is uniquely her own, however, she is often compared to Rhonda Vincent or Alison Krauss. With the sense of humor of Mini Pearl. Alison's smooth harmony and back-up singing is in high demand for recording studio assignments and stage performance with well-established and up-and-coming artists. Scott MacGregor is a self-professed “Side man”. Providing solid bass accompaniment, duet harmonies, and the odd solo. Scott was born in Scarborough Ontario, but learned his “Country Chops” while living in Louisville Kentucky,  Toronto, and Owen Sound Ontario. Scott is often the jovial brunt of Alison’s humor antics both on and off stage. With a lifetime of playing country music, Scott is a good fit with Alison’s classic repertoire.
